Galway voted top destination for Irish Staycations

Co Galway is the top destination for Irish people to take a staycation this year.

While Co Kerry came second, and Co. Wexford third in a survey by SunDrift.

It also found the most favoured choice of activity for the first weekend away is visiting friends.

Other counties proving popular are Cork, Donegal and Sligo.
