Galway United played out a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Bray Wanderers last night in the SSE Airtricity League. An unlucky own goal from Galway United keeper Kevin Horgan just seven minutes into the first half saw Alan Murphy’s side on the back foot but just before half - time Conor Lyang struck the net to even the score.

Bray regained the lead shortly after the restart but Vinny Faherty drew the sides level in the 83rd minute. Galway United were denied a late disallowed goal and had to settle for the draw which leaves Galway United second from bottom of the first division league table.
