Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway East TD is encouraging the public to get involved in an upcoming public consultation on a road alignment scheme for Kilbannon.

The consultation on Monday week will be hosted by Galway County Council and the project consultants, O'Connor Sutton Cronin.
The planned realignment along the R332 will run from Duddy's pub to the GAA pitch and will involve road widening and the installation of a walkway and cycle way.

The consultation session will take place on Monday 2nd March, at the Tuam Municipal District Office between 4 and 8 pm.
Speaking on Galway Talks, Junior Minister and Galway East TD Sean Canney says it's important that locals express their views and remain fully informed.
