Galway TD slams government over Mobility Allowance

A Galway West TD has slammed the government for its failure to replace the Mobility Allowance.

The Mobility Allowance was a payment made to people with severe mobility difficulties to help pay for taxis and other forms of transport for social and health reasons.

Fianna Fail Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív says the government has failed to replace the scheme which was abolished in 2013.
