Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway West - South Mayo T.D Seán Kyne is in Ohio today as part of the annual St. Patrick's Day festivities.
The Fine Gael T.D and Minister for the Gaeltacht will have a briefing with Consul General, Brian O' Brien and Director of Cleveland Irish Network & Regional Director of Irish Network USA, Mark Owens.
Tomorrow, St. Patrick's Day, Minister Kyne will meet with local officials in Cleveland Ohio as well as political leaders.
He will march at the top of the Cleveland parade from 1pm, U.S time.
He will also attend a post-parade reception hosted by Pat Murphy of the Irish Law Society and another reception hosted by Thomas Scanlon, partner of Collins & Scanlon law firm.
Minister Kyne will also make a speech at the Hibernians Parade Honoree Dinner at the Renaissance Hotel tomorrow evening.
On Saturday, Minister Kyne will travel to Dublin in Ohio for its parade at 11a.m U.S time.
Later on Saturday he will have a meeting with Robert Ward of Galway civil engineering firm Ward & Burke, whose U.S office and contractors' yard is located in Ohio.
He will also attend a dinner with the Council of the City of Dublin and Ohio State representatives on Saturday evening.
Minister Sean Kyne will make his return to Ireland on Sunday.
Meanwhile, OPW Minister and Galway T.D Seán Canney will travel to China as part of the 'Promote Ireland' programme and Mayor of Galway, Noel Larkin is travelling to the U.S on a whistlestop tour which will include a visit to the White House.
