Galway TD Catherine Connolly says she's frightened by the government's stance on data centres

Galway Bay fm newsroom - An Independent TD has said she's never been as frightened as she is over the Government's stance on data centres.

TDs have been calling for a moratorium on new data centres amid fears over the strain they put on the power grid.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said he believes power demand this winter can be managed.

But Independent Galway West TD Catherine Connolly isn't as sure.
