Female students from 7 Galway schools have taken part in an initiative to promote STEM subjects to students from under-represented backgrounds.
The initiative is run by non-profit organisation Teen-Turn, which has held a "super session" at University of Limerick to upskill the potential next generation of female STEM leaders.
Their aim is to provide the resources and supports to encourage careers in the STEM subjects, which are science, technology, engineering and maths.
Chloe Nolan spoke to four students from Dominican College who took part in the latest event in Limerick.
