Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway Senator is accusing Fine Gael and Fianna Fail of blocking attempts to tackle issues with the Government's JobPath employment scheme.
JobPath is an activation programme intended to help long term unemployed jobseekers find and retain full-time employment.
Senator Trevor O' Clochartaigh says the scheme has a number of serious flaws - and the Social Protection Minister should order a full review.
However, he says motions to request that Leo Varakdar attend the Seanad to address concerns have been persistently blocked by Fine Gael and Fianna Fail members.
