Galway Bay fm newsroom - A seal pup located on a beach near Kinvara this week is recovering in Wexford today where she is being cared for by Seal Rescue Ireland.
The female pup was initially brought to the Aquarium in Salthill after being found by a local man.
She's estimated to be four days old and is recovering well after receiving fluids and fish porridge.
Seal Rescue Ireland is asking for the public's help in naming the seal through a competition on its Facebook page where a list of 10 wizard themed names are up for selection.
Melanie Croce is Operations Manager with Seal Rescue Ireland - she says the pup is underweight at the moment but responding very well to treatment.
