Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway-Roscommon TD says it's time for the Taoiseach to 'put manners' on Finance Minister Pascal Donohue over the school transport crisis.
Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice says his refusal to sanction funding of €4m means up to 30 thousand children will be left without transport options for the upcoming term.
Meanwhile, he argues, the Government is content to spend billions on LUAS lines, DART services, proposed Metro's, buses and bicycle lanes in Dublin.
Deputy Fitzmaurice is now calling on Leo Varadkar to call Finance Minister Pascal Donohue to account over his alleged penny pinching.
Independent Deputy Fitzmaurice says it's further evidence of an 'anti-rural' mindset in Government.
