Galway records peak in COVID 19 numbers with 14 additional cases reported

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There's concern in Galway at the sharp rise in the number of new cases of COVID-19 being confirmed in the last few days.

Last evening the Health Protection Surveillance Centre confirmed 14 new cases, which is one of the highest spikes in the daily published figures for Galway since April.

It brings to 432 the total number of cases of the virus in the city and county.
