Galway records one new case of COVID 19

Galway Bay fm newsroom - One new case of coronavirus has been confirmed in Galway after a five day period where no new cases were recorded for the city or county.

Galway's total cases now stands at 487.

Last evening, 11 new cases were confirmed nationwide bringing the country's total to 25,542.

Dr. Ronan Glynn, Acting Chief Medical Officer says a key element of the response to COVID-19 is ensuring that any person experiencing symptoms comes forward for testing.
