Galway recorded over 4,000 COVID cases in first week of 2022

Galway Bay FM Newsroom- Galway recorded over 4,000 cases of COVID-19 in the first week of 2022.

The average age of cases during the period was 31.

The figures compiled by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre state that all data for this surge period is estimated.

Westmeath had the highest incidence rate in the first week of January, while Kerry had the lowest.
