Galway Races attendance figures continue on an upwards trend

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Attendance at this week’s Galway Races is continuing on an upwards trend.

Day Two saw another increase to spectator numbers compared to last year, with 13,506 people making the trip to Ballybrit racecourse yesterday.

After two days, over 30,000 people have been enjoying the 2023 summer festival – 2,000 more than the same time last year.

The action continues today with gates opening at 2:30PM and the first of seven races off at 5:10PM.
