The study carried out by BoyleSports looked at 26 racecourses nationwide.

It assessed factors like attendance numbers, Tripadvisor and Google review scores, social media followers and online search volumes.
Ballybrit has a strong showing with high attendence numbers and excellent reviews.
It particularly punches above its weight in the social media stakes - with the highest number of followers and posts of any venue in the country.
The top five racecourses are Leopardstown, Ballybrit, Limerick, Punchestown and Dundalk.
