Galway Bay fm newsroom - Students from two Galway primary schools are through to the final of a national robotics competition

St Mary's in Mountbellew and Coolarne National School in Turloughmore enjoyed success at the VEX IQ competition hosted at ATU Galway.
Over 400 pupils from 24 schools were involved in the competition, which sees students design, build and code robots.

St Mary's were also awarded for their driving and coding skills, while the best Robot Design award went to Carnmore national school in Oranmore.
