Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Galway public is being urged to engage in the public consultation process for the new County Development Plan.
The plan aims to set out the strategy for the future development of the county until 2028.
The first of three public consultation periods is ongoing and remains active until 10th September.
The issues paper is the first step in creating the Development Plan and presents an overview of the main planning and development issues in Galway.
The paper seeks to encourage public debate on broad issues including housing strategy, urban living and transport.
