Galway Bay fm newsroom - As temperatures soar, the Galway public have been giving a mixed reaction to proposals to ban dogs from beaches at certain times.

The new rule would be part of a set of bye-laws being introduced by Galway County Council, which will shortly go on public display.
It means dogs wouldn't be allowed on beaches between 11am and 7pm.
