Galway public donates 80,000 Covid 19 vaccines to UNICEF campaign

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The people of Galway have donated 80 thousand Covid vaccines to some of the world's least developed countries.

It's part of UNICEF Ireland's 'Get a Vaccine, Give a Vaccine' campaign.

The nationwide response has delivered two million vaccines to healthcare workers in some of the world’s poorest countries.

So far, the campaign, headed by UNICEF ambassador Liam Neeson, has raised more than five million euro from individuals and companies in Ireland.
