Galway one of seven counties to record over 300 COVID-19 cases in last fortnight

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway is one of seven counties to record over 300 cases of COVID-19 over the last fortnight.

Galway's 14 day incidence rate stands at 119.7, with 309 cases notified in the city and county in the period.

Dublin has recorded the highest volume of cases over the last 14 days with 3,327.

This is followed by Kildare with 490, Donegal with 452, Meath with 444 and Offaly with 346.

309 cases of the virus have been notified in Galway in the last fortnight and 300 in Tipperary.

Leitrim recorded the lowest number of new cases in the period with 20 notified.
