Galway on par with national average in electrical waste recycling

Galway Bay FM Newsroom - People in Galway recycled an average of 9.8kg in electrical waste each last year.

That's almost on par with the national average of 10kg per person.

A record-high of 19.5 million appliances, such as TVs, fridges and batteries, were recovered nationwide in 2022

The figures are based on the most recent report from WEEE Ireland.
