Galway Bay fm newsroom- A Galway native Senator says he believes gay people should be allowed to undergo conversion therapy unless there is proof it is dangerous.
Rónán Mullen is being criticised for comments he made in the Seanad about the controversial practice, which is widely condemned as extremely harmful.
Doctor Mary McAuliffe, an Assistant Professor in Gender Studies, is calling on Senator Mullen to withdraw his remarks.
