Galway man to be sentenced for sexual abuse of niece

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway man is to be sentenced later this month for sexually abusing his niece.

The 31 year old man, who cannot be named to protect the victim's identity, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to sexual assault and sexual exploitation at his home between 2013 and 2016.

According to today's Irish Times, a garda told the court that the man expressed no remorse.

Justice Owens remanded the man on continuing bail for sentencing on April 29th.
