Galway International Arts Festival breaks attendance records of over 400,000

Galway Bay fm newsroom – This year’s Galway International Arts Festival drew record-breaking numbers.

On Sunday night, the curtain closed on 14 days and nights of extraordinary performances and experiences.

The festival has now revealed that for the first time, more than 400 thousand people attended events.

The organisers say they’re thrilled at the response to what was their biggest and most ambitious festival to date.
