Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Galway IFA says it's "disappointed and bewildered" over the emissions deal reached by the Government.
Last night it announced a 25 percent reduction in emissions for the agriculture sector over the coming years.
Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue says he's worked with farm organisations on a 22 percent reduction - and will keep working to find out how to stretch that to 25 percent.
Speaking to Galway Talks, Galway IFA Chair Stephen Canavan says farmers are disappointed and feel like they're being left in the dark.
He argues it's all extremely vague - and the Government seems to be pursuing a one size fits all approach.
