Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway senior hurler has been sent forward for trial charged with the theft of almost 60,000 euro from a former employer.
At Galway District Court, a Book of Evidence has been served on 26 year old David Glennon from Loughrea.
He faces 23 charges involving the theft of various amounts of cash, totalling over 60 thousand euro from J&C Kenny Wine Distributors between December 1st, 2012 and July 8th, 2015.
According to the Irish Times, the DPP has directed the accused be returned for trial to Galway Circuit Criminal Court.
