Galway house prices rise 40 percent in single year

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The average price of a new home in Galway has risen by 40 percent in a single year.

That's according to an analysis of figures from the Central Statistics Office which shows an increase of almost €80 thousand in just 12 months.

It places Galway in third place on the national table of property increases during that time.
