Galway hoteliers call for immediate Government action on rising insurance costs

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Hoteliers across Galway are calling on the Government to take urgent action to address the spiraling cost of insurance.

The Galway Branch of the Irish Hotels Federation says 90 percent of hotels have now expressed concern about the impact on their business.

Over 60 percent have seen hikes in insurance costs over the past 12 months - with the average increase in premiums standing at almost 30 percent.
