Galway has second lowest level of farmland available for rent

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway has the second lowest level of farmland available for rent or lease at 21.5%.

The Department of Agriculture figures show the county sits behind Clare on just over 18 percent.

According to the Irish Independent, the west has the lowest level of leasing, with counties in the region having less than 24 percent of land available.

The levels increase across the east, with the most land available for rent in Dublin, at over 50%.
