Galway has relatively higher levels of community care

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway is among the counties with the highest levels of community healthcare in Ireland.

However, a new report finds there's an unequal supply of community health and social care across Ireland.

The ESRI examined the supply of non-acute services, such as GPs, counsellors and home-care hours.

The evidence could inform policies, such as Sláintecare, which aim to move patients away from acute hospitals.
