Galway had the biggest increase in job vacancies in the country during the last quarter.
That's according to hiring platform IrishJobs - which show it far surpassed other cities like Cork, Limerick and Dublin.
During July, August and September, job vacancies in Galway increased by almost 15 percent.
It's the highest figure in the country - and it's being attributed to growing demand in certain sectors.
By comparison, the growth in Cork was just 1.5%, and there were drops in job advertisements in Limerick and Dublin.
According to IrishJobs, there's strong activity in Galway in the fields of healthcare, science and retail - and some of the most in-demand roles are nurses, clinical managers and sales assistants.
Looking at the national picture, fully remote jobs fell to just 2 percent during the third quarter.
But hybrid working positions have remained relatively stable, at between 11 and 12.5% over the past 18 months.
