Galway groups team up to provide health and wellbeing initiatives for Ukrainian refugees

Galway Bay FM newsroom - A number of Galway city groups have teamed up to provide a number of wellbeing initiatives for Ukrainian refugees.

The Community Response Forum is supporting recreational, physical, creative, social and cultural activities, designed for the Ukrainian community here.

Over 4,000 Ukrainian refugees have now arrived in Galway, with over a third in the city.

There will also be courses and workshops offering therapeutic interventions to provide support in coping the with trauma of war and displacement.
