Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí in Galway are investigating an assault in which a young man was injured on Quay Street over the weekend.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday morning when a male in his late teens was assaulted.
Gardaí say the victim sustained a non life threatening injury.
No arrests have been made and a Garda investigation is ongoing.
