Galway firms included in list of fastest growing EU businesses

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Two Galway businesses have been included in a list of the fastest growing companies in the EU.

Research by the 'Financial Times' identified the top 1,000 firms across the 28 states in the European Union.

City-based Galway Natural Health Company, which produces the Revive Active brand, is number 414 on the list.

Meanwhile, Synergy Security Solutions, also based in the city, has entered the rankings at position 855.

Overall, nine Irish companies have been included in the list of the fastest growing businesses in the EU.

According to the Irish Independent, criteria for consideration in the prestigious list means companies had revenues of over 1.5 million by the end of 2015.
