Galway Bay fm newsroom - Farmers across county Galway expecting payments under the Basic Payments Scheme today are being warned to flag any delays as soon as possible with the Department of Agriculture.
Farmers will begin to receive 70% of their allocated funding under the BPS programme starting today, with the final tranche of 30% expected before the end of the year .
129,000 farmers across the country submitted a Basic Payments application across all schemes this year.
