Galway East TD says banks cannot be allowed go back to “old habits”

Banks are grabbing as much as they can and giving away as little as possible to increase the gap in their profits.

That’s according to Galway East TD Sean Canney, who says our banks cannot be allowed to slip back to their “old habits”.

Speaking during a debate on the cost of living, he said the crisis has led to many suffering silently, trying to keep their head above water.
