Galway East Independent TD Sean Canney says he's willing to sit down with Fianna Fail and Fine Gael in their attempts to form a government
Meanwhile, Labour says it will speak with the Social Democrats and the Green Party before entering government negotiations.
It follows remarks by new TD Marie Sherlock last night - which implied the party wouldn't go into government with Fianna Fail and Fine Gael.
However, it looks like the two civil war parties would prefer to make up the numbers with independents.
