Galway COVID-19 incidence rate now largely in line with national average

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway's 14 day incidence rate of COVID-19 is now largely in line with the national average at 334.4 per 100 thousand.

55 new cases were notified in the city and county last evening with 863 over the last fortnight.

Roscommon now has the lowest rate of infection nationwide at 130.1 per 100 thousand in population.

Monaghan is at the top of the table with the highest rate of infection over the last 14 days at 738.
