Galway Bay fm newsroom - A major employer in Galway recorded a pre-tax loss of more than two and a half million euro last year.
The latest accounts for Hewlett Packard Galway show a pre-tax loss of 2.6 million euro after revenues more than halved to 28.7 million euro.
In October last year, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Ireland Limited acquired the share capital of HP Galway based in Ballybrit from a holding company.
According to today's Irish Times, exceptional costs at a marketing and selling arm of the computer giant contributed to the loss at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Ireland Limited.
