The highest figure is in Galway City East, where the 14 day incidence rate is 1,600 cases per 100 thousand people - compared to the national average of 1,300.
Next is Galway City Central at 1,500 - while Galway City West is broadly in line with the national average of 1,300.
Elsewhere in the county, the figures are considerably below the national average.
Loughrea and Connemara South are both 1,100; Connemara North is 1,000; Ballinasloe is 978; Athenry-Oranmore is 853; Gort-Kinvara is 847; and Tuam is 762.
On Monday, the country's 14-day incidence rate was 1,305 cases per 100,000 people.
Portlaw-Kilmacthomas local electoral area in Co Waterford had a rate of 2,138.
The Portlaoise local electoral area in Co Laois was the next highest, at 2,092.
Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart in Dublin is the third worst-affected area, at 1,980.
Waterford City South and Newbridge in Co Kildare also have rates of over 1,900.
Manorhamilton in Co Leitrim has the lowest rate, at 508.
