Galway City Council scooped two gongs at last night's Local Government Excellence Awards.
They won the Communications Award for their podcast series 'Galway City - Your Council' and the Sustaining the Arts Award for their project commemorating Irish Women of 1923
Galway County Council was also nominated in the Local Authority Innovation and Heritage and Built Environment categories.
