Galway Bay fm's local hero, Chris Cresham has won the Wildcard prize at the Irish Music Month final.
The competition culminated in the final in Dublin's The Academy, where six finalists battle it out for the top prize.
Chris, while not making the final, came away with the Wildcard Prize, taking home €2,500 for his song 'Catching Fire'.
The Wildcard prize is voted by the public, and speaking to John Morley at the final, Chris says he's thrilled:
