Galway Bay fm newsroom - Workers at Argos in Galway and other branches across the country have voted in favour of a proposal for a 2.5 per cent pay increase.
Members of Mandate trade union voted in favour of the increase backdated to July 1st, along with provisions for more secure hours and income.
Argos employs about 1 thousand workers nationwide with about 35 of those based in the store at Headford Road in the city.
