In the period between 12th to 25th October, the rate has climbed to 382.5.
Galway city and county have recorded 987 cases of the virus in the last fortnight with 53 notified by health officials in last evening's figures.

Cavan has the highest incidence rate in the country at 967.5.
This is followed by Meath with a rate of 667 and Sligo with a rate of 442.5.
Tipperary has the lowest rate nationwide at 139.
The lowest such incidence rate was on July 3rd when the rate was 2.98 per 100 thousand in population.
