Galway Bay fm newsroom:The latest in a series of demonstrations against proposals for mineral mining in Connemara, will take place outside County Hall tomorrow (Tues).
The campaign group argues the plans do not show adequate regard for people's health, homes, livelihoods and environment.
It's calling for a ban on base metal mining in Connemara which would exclude marble and stone quarrying.
Canadian mining company MOAG is seeking a licence for prospecting in town lands such as Ballinahinch, Callow, Murvey and Dolan.
Another firm, BTU Metals Corp is also seeking a prospecting licence from the government.
The demonstration gets underway at County Hall at 1pm tomorrow.
