Funding has been announced for walking track upgrades at 7 Galway soccer and rugby clubs.
The allocations are made through the IRFU and FAI Health Ireland Walking Tracks initiative.
The focus of the funding is to enable clubs to make walking tracks more accessible.
This could include improving access for those with mobility issues or using wheelchairs, or the upgrade of lighting to allow usage later into the winter evenings.
In the city, there's €25 thousand each for Salthill Devon FC and Galway Corinthians RFC.
In the county, there's the same amount for Dunmore RFC, Colemanstown United FC and Colga FC in Clarinbridge.
Meanwhile, €10 thousand has been allocated to Ballinasloe RFC and Gort RFC.
