Four UHG wards impacted by different COVID outbreaks

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Four wards at UHG are currently impacted by different COVID outbreaks.

UHG says it's dealing with a significant increase in COVID positive patients, with three wards dedicated to those infected.

51 patients with COVID-19 are being treated at the hospital, with three of those in ICU.

UHG also states the high community transmission rate in the region is having an impact on staffing levels.
