Galway Bay fm newsroom - A former B&B in Newcastle is set to be converted into a major new hub to accommodate homeless families.
The project is being led by the city council at the property formerly known as 'Corrib Haven' at Upper Newcastle Road.
Mayor of Galway, Niall McNelis says it's important to get families out of emergency accommodation such as hotels and B&Bs.
