Galway Bay fm - First time language school accommodation providers in the Galway Gaeltacht are to get a double grant.
The grant applies to first time applicants of the Irish Language Learners Scheme.
The scheme provides a grant for Gaeltacht households to help towards the initial cost of adapting homes to accommodate such Irish language learners.
From June, €2,000 will be available to new households participating in the scheme for the first time.

Gaeltacht Minister and Galway West TD Seán Kyne says the numbers attending Gaeltacht courses are increasing with over 26,000 young people attending the summer colleges across the Gaeltacht.
