Galway Bay FM Newsroom - Fire services are currently dealing with a gorse fire in the Carna Area.
It is believed that the fire began yesterday and was monitored overnight for fear that it may spread.
Following the monitoring of the fire, it was decided that Units would be deployed this morning.
Two units are currently at the scene with Clifden and Carraroe fire services in attendance.
